• A new study shows over 38 percent of Southerners still sympathize with the Confederacy. They probably also have aspirations to someday be just like the characters on The Dukes of Hazzard.
• Amazon is offering a Kindle at $25 below the typical cost, provided customers are willing to have advertisements appear along the bottom of the screen. Not sure who is benefiting here. Seems like $25 is not much of a discount for customers. And for advertisers, is the implied message that Amazon will pay people to ignore your messages? Amazon would probably be more successful selling special Kindles in the South featuring a Confederate flag along the bottom of the screen.
